The main public car park is located in Home Park Public, opposite the Box Office entrance to the Show. Parking is on grass and is around a 5-10 minute walk to the Showground itself. Spaces are limited so we do recommend booking in advance.
Can I wear jeans to the Royal Windsor Horse Show?
DRESS CODE: There is no set dress code for the daytime of the Show for General Entry ticket holders, although we remind visitors it is a greenfield site and footing may be variable, and the weather in May is very changeable!

Racegoers are also welcome to bring their own picnics into the Windsor Enclosure. Each racegoer (over the age of 18) is permitted to bring with them one bottle of sparkling wine or Champagne to accompany a substantial picnic. No other alcoholic drinks are permitted and all picnics will be searched on entry.

Food and Drink
Picnics may be brought to The Windsor Enclosure and must be in a picnic hamper or cool bag/box. Picnics must be brought in at the time of entry to the enclosure and not on re-entry. If you are coming with a large group and your picnic and Sparkling Wine or Champagne is divided among your hampers.

Parking at the Royal Windsor Racecourse must be pre-booked. The racecourse is 1.5miles from Windsor Town Centre with a 30 minute walk along the River Thames and through Windsor to the designated spectator areas on the Long Walk.
