Where will we sleep? Sleepover participants will sleep on the floor of the Dangerous Lagoon tunnel. There are no other areas in the Aquarium available for sleeping.

In this shallow lagoon, guests can reach out and touch Ripley’s rays as they glide by. Don’t be shy! Their skin is smooth and interacting with them will not hurt you or the animals. Stick to their soft dark top-sides, though, as rays have strong grinding plates in their mouths.
Are sharks still when they sleep?
Whatever method they use to breathe, sharks are able to engage in periods of deep rest while still but do not fall asleep in the traditional sense. Lacking eyelids, their eyes remain perpetually open, and their pupils still monitor the motion of creatures swimming around them.
Do sharks bite better at night?
Sharks are the most active at dusk and dawn when they are hunting for food. You can reduce your risk of shark encounters by staying out of the water at these times of day. Sharks also don’t have the best vision, so they will be more likely to confuse a human for its natural prey when visibility is low.

How long does Ripley’s Mirror Maze take?
The mirrors are really cool and you do get really disoriented BUT it took us 2 minutes and 45 seconds to get from start to finish. Not sure if we are just really good at Mazes but for that amount of time I’m glad we didn’t pay for it!
