Do pods on the London Eye Move?

The temperature-controlled ovoidal capsule can hold up to 25 people in each pod. The wheel rotates at 26 cm per second covering one revolution in 30 minutes. The speed of the wheel is slow enough for passengers to walk on and off the moving capsule at ground level.
