Can Canada eTA be refused?

Can I apply twice for an eTA?
No. Once approved, your eTA is valid for five years or until your passport expires – whichever comes first. You can come to Canada as many times as you wish as long as your eTA remains valid.
Why was my eTA refused?
If the eTA is denied, you will receive the response by email from the Canadian authorities. This refusal could be justified because of a visa cancellation, a pre-border refusal. It could also be due to a simple or complex criminality situation.
Is my eTA linked to my passport?
Yes, the eTA is electronically linked to the passport number you enter when you apply for your client’s eTA. The person will need to travel to Canada with that passport.
How long does it take to get the visa stamped after submitting the passport in Canadian High Commission for PR?
