Can you apply for an Oyster card if you don’t live in London?
If you do not live in the UK, you can still get an Oyster card but only when you arrive in London. You can also pay for your travel with a contactless payment card.

Does everyone get approved for Zip?
Zip assesses every order at the time it is placed.

How far outside of London can I use my 60+ Oyster card?
The pass allows free travel on buses, Tube, tram, DLR, London Overground and most National Rail services in London. Pass holders also get a discounted fare on River services and the Emirates Air Line. 60+ Oyster pass holders are not entitled to free travel on services outside of London.
How far out of London can I use my Freedom Pass?
Freedom Passes will be valid to use on all of the Elizabeth line including stops outside of London.
Is Bus travel free with a zip card?

Since this summer, applications for the 11-15 Zip card can now be made online by London residents at tfl.gov.uk/photocard as well as via the Post Office. Applications for the 16+ Zip Oyster photocard should be made by mid September to ensure cardholders receive their new card before their existing card expires.

The Pay as you go Oyster card is the cheapest way to pay for single tickets on the underground. For journeys in central London (zone 1), ticket prices are more than 50% cheaper with an Oyster card.
