Basic point-and-shoot type cameras may work reasonably well for general overall shots of the aquarium, but when taking closer photographs of the inhabitants, the autofocus settings will limit you somewhat as they will usually focus on the front glass rather than on the fish themselves.

Can you take picture underwater?
If you want to take pictures underwater with your existing camera, choose between a hardshell protective case or a waterproof, sealable plastic pouch. You can shop online or at most electronic or photo stores. Both options work great for underwater photography.
Does sea water damage camera?
As mentioned earlier, salt is a corrosive which can cause damage to the inside of your camera. If there is any water in the battery compartment or the memory card slots, then use a small microfibre cloth to gently dab it away.

For the health and safety of you and our animals, we ask that you do not touch any of our animals unless invited to by a member of staff. We have a rockpool display where you are welcome to touch our starfish and crabs under the supervision of our fully trained staff.

Absolutely NOT!! We bought the photo key for like $7O – $80 and they only downloaded 1 photo! Plus, the ONE photo we got has a huge picture of a key over it so you cannot even see us.
Can I take underwater pictures with my phone?
New phones typically have wide-angle and telephoto lenses, which are crucial options for underwater photography, where the goal often is to get as close as possible to the subject.
Can you take pictures while snorkeling?
You can certainly use your smartphone while you snorkel, but a decent-quality digital camera will likely do the job much better. Considering that you’ll need a waterproof case for your camera, a digital camera is probably easier to use.

Unfortunately, due to security reasons we are unable to accept suitcases or large items of hand luggage into this attraction. If you arrive with these items you will be directed to local left luggage services before entry. Handbags and backpacks up to a 30litre capacity will be permitted.
