Visitor Pass Options. Visitors may sign up for a Yale Library account to use and/or borrow from our general collections with a range of free and paid options. Visitor accounts are available to anyone, regardless of connection or affiliation with Yale.
Can anyone use UCL library?
We allow UCL alumni and qualifying visitors to visit our libraries. All applicants must complete an online registration form and have received an email confirming their Library membership before arriving at the Library to collect a library card.

Who can use university libraries?
Full-time undergraduates can use the libraries of most participating universities for reference only. Academic staff, full- or part-time postgraduates, distance-learning, or placement students can usually borrow from other libraries as well.
How to get Open University library card?
You do not need to apply for an Open University Library card unless you are visiting the Open University campus library. You can find and complete the application form at the SCONUL Access website. Note: once your application has been approved, you can use any of the libraries on this list.
