Why is CRA locking accounts?
The CRA has locked these accounts as a precautionary measure after it learned that some CRA My Account user IDs and passwords may have been obtained by unauthorized third parties through external sources (such as email phishing scams). This is not due to a breach of the CRA’s online systems.
