As a matriculated student, you are entitled to attend any lectures (but not classes or practicals) of any degree course. Students wishing to attend lectures for a subject for which they are not registered will be permitted to do so only if there is room for them in the lecture theatre.
Are Cambridge lectures open to public?
The lectures are not open to the public, but where space in the lecture hall permits, we are willing to make places available for members of the University to attend the plenary lectures which interest them most.

Will Cambridge lectures be in person?
We plan to deliver lectures in person where possible. We are assessing the safe use of lecture theatres for large cohorts of students during the first term and so there may be circumstances where online lectures are provided.

You are very very limited in where you can walk to even see the exteriors and can’t go in to any of the buildings and most don’t let you even walk around outside in the courtyard. While the University itself was disappointing, Cambridge is still worth a visit. Loved the punt tour and the pubs are awesome.
