Where do you live during DLI?
Family housing for DLIFLC students and permanent party is available at OMC and La Mesa Village. Both sites are managed and maintained by The Parks at Monterey Bay. Off-post housing, both for renting and buying is limited and very expensive.
Where do DLI students live?
Personnel assigned to the Presidio of Monterey, with duty as students at the Defense Language School, will probably be assigned housing on the Ord Military Community (formerly Fort Ord), about eight miles from the school.
