Can I use my 60+ Oyster card to get to Gatwick?
You can use Oyster on all of our trains for journeys that start and finish in the London Travelcard area. Oyster can also be used between Gatwick Airport and London Victoria on Gatwick Express services.

Free travel is not available: on any services outside of the area shown on the 60+ Oyster map. on Southeastern high speed services. on any train services operated by East Midlands Railway, LNER, Hull Trains, Grand Central, Heathrow Express, West Midlands Railway, ScotRail, Merseyrail, or Avanti West Coast.

If you’re over 60, but still too young for a Freedom Pass, a 60+ Oyster card could be a good option. It still provides free travel on the London Underground, Overground, trams and buses, as well as some TfL Rail and National Rail services, but you can’t use your pass outside of London.

From Monday 15 June, changes to the ticketing system will mean these cards are automatically set to be not valid during the morning peak period (04:30 to 09:00) Monday to Friday. They will continue to be valid at all other times on weekdays and all day on weekends and Bank Holidays.
Is the over 60 Oyster card being stopped?

Can two people use the same Oyster card?
Only one person can travel with an Oyster card at any time. If 2 people are travelling together they need 2 Oyster cards. However another person can use your Oyster card when you are not travelling.
